An emerging talent on the Irish music scene, Emily Jane is a woman that’s hard to pin down. Having amassed an impressive online following on the back of a stunning performance of ‘Grace’, which garnered over a million views in just two weeks, the Wexford based singer-songwriter continues to build on an already jam-packed career.With an energetic presence, a powerful voice, and a sound that has been described as ‘a mix of pop-rock and folk’, Emily Jane grew up playing music. Since she joined her father’s band at just 11 years of age, Emily Jane has played thousands of shows across Ireland, the UK and Europe, and also spent an extended stint with the Irish tour of the hit musical RENT. On May 04th, Emily Jane released her debut single, Island Road, an upbeat track that declares ‘I am a winner, I am a liar, I am loser, but I’m never a fighter, it’ll be just fine, things’ll work out okay, I’m not there just yet but I’ll get there someday,’ about being young, making mistakes, and having a bit too much to drink. Immediately after the single release, she set out on a tour across Ireland and the UK. After the tour Emily Jane went on preform a contract for Carnival Cruise Lines on board The Carnival Pride. Emily Jane can currently be found preforming at Raglan Road in Disney World, Orlando and is working on releasing an EP later on this year.
